Here are a few highlights:
Florian still enjoys school He is a little less shy and a little bit more assertive when it comes to other kids. He speaks German fluently, although will sometimes strike at home. "Mama, zuhause ist nicht die Deutsche Schule" (Mama, home is not the German school). Usually he doesn't notice that I speak German with him and he automatically replies in German. He is also becoming very good at Germinglish. :)
Florian currently places great weight on being a big boy and being able to do things on his own. We bought him a showerhead that is a fish and is lower than the adult one and he will shower forever. He will wash his hair and all without complaint. That's a big deal around here.
He also is very much into telling time. At school, he has mastered telling time on a watch. At home, he has mastered asking for 10 minutes instead of five.
Finn is growing, growing, growing. He is very independent and wants to do everything that Florian is doing. He has started to use some words. He says ja, nein-nein and no-no, Schuhe (shoes), aqui (sp. here), si, was ist das (what is that), bye-bye, Ciao-Ciao, Mama, Papa and DaDa (for Florian), up, put me down and meme (milk). He is very clever and watches very intently how things are done and tries to do them himself. More often than not, I have to get him off a chair, table, etc. He is still a very happy little guy and will smile all day with his eyes.
Now that it is warmer (finally), we are outside a lot.
